Westcon-Comstor is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our Comstor entity.

Part of the EMEA Marketing team, the Marketing Operations Specialist is a key colleague on all aspects of Marketing Operations, assisting on operational efficiency and profitability for Comstor.

This is an excellent grounding opportunity in the practicalities of marketing, budget management and operations in a B2B environment for a global IT Distributor. The role requires a highly process driven individual with very close attention to detail.

You will assist in all aspects of budget management, vendor activity submissions and budget claims, using Comstor and Cisco tools including Cisco Workspan.

Potential scope to assist Central Marketing Managers with programs and campaigns.

This role is remote, but you would have to live close to Madrid, first, to be able to come to the office during your training period, then occasionally and/or when required.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Action/follow up of Central Budget requests to Marketing Operations, utilizing the defined process (currently Smartsheet)
• Central and Local Internal Order (IO) requests
• New Supplier set-up
• Purchase Order (PO) requests
• Request Finance approvals and provide further details if required
• Request budget transfers to Countries or other Westcon-Comstor practices
• Reconciliation requests for all local IOs
• Follow up with Marketing Ops if there are any Supplier inquiries regarding POs and payment status
• Proof of Performance (PoP) requests to local marketers as required
• Sharing Central Marketing Plan Outputs with countries before the beginning of each Quarter
• Create Rate Cards that are used for budget claiming purposes
• Review activity approvals and claiming status in WorkSpan / inform supervisor
• Create Wrike tasks related to internal communications: sending tests and emails
• Back up of other tasks while members of the team are on PTO
