Job Description

The Quote Specialist for North America Parts collaborates with various data sources to capture the necessary information to identify, price, and quote spare parts. In this role, you will work closely with Impact Partners, Operations, Fisher Service Management Organization, Engineering teams, the Global Parts Business Unit, and other Emerson Business Units to deliver accurate and timely information, ensuring we meet our customers' needs optimally.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with various customers, including Global Pricing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Impact Partners, and Service teams, to provide quick and accurate quotes.
  • Ensure Accuracy: Analyze and verify the accuracy of information; follow up with relevant collaborators to fully understand user needs.
  • Handle Requests: Efficiently read, sort, prioritize, and respond to Impact Partners' requests for spare parts quotes.
  • Provide Critical Information: Supply factories and Impact Partners with essential source, lead-time, and pricing information.
  • Leverage Technology: Apply Microsoft suite tools to track, update key performance metrics, and maintain quote information.
  • Extract Data: Pull and analyze data from the Business System, including serial numbers, spare parts details, pricing, new part numbers, and lead-time.
  • Interpret Technical Data: Use information from drawings and Item Setup to understand marketability and common item attributes.
  • Ensure Compliance: Review customer and Fisher specifications to apply the appropriate quality and processing requirements to quotes and orders.

For This Role, You Will Need:

Professional Degree Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in manufacturing processes.

Experience Requirements:

1 Year Of Experience Preferred.

Ability to read and interpret technical literature.

Validated ability to develop, handle, and maintain positive customer and supplier relationships.

Strong English interpersonal skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; experience with MS Access and Project is a plus.

Understanding of Bills of Material, Mechanical Drawings, Assembly Drawings, and Instruction Manuals.

Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Procedures.
