About The Position
Full Stack WordPress Developer
You will work with talented UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s Digital Experience Platform (CMS) on a WordPress multisite instance. You will also support Sysadmin functions with your knowledge of MySQL databases and automation tools.

Full Stack WordPress Developer
You will work with talented UI/UX designers and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization’s Digital Experience Platform (CMS) on a WordPress multisite instance. You will also support Sysadmin functions with your knowledge of MySQL databases and automation tools.
Main Responsibilities
- Construct new websites in a WordPress Multisite DXP (Digital Experience Platform).
- Produce marketing assets to support new partners and programs.
- Migrate legacy websites into the new DXP (Digital Experience Platform).
- Maintain websites via production tickets and ad hoc projects.
- Create custom modules for content entry and publishing automation.
- Optimize code bases via page speed diagnostics to improve browser efficiency and search rankings.
- Quality assurance reviews of other developers’ work.
- Troubleshoot errors by reviewing logs and browser consoles.
- Assist with feature documentation
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs for responsive page development.
- Ensure accessibility compliance via WCAG 2.0 A and AA standards.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
- 5+ years full stack development experience.
- 3+ years of WordPress development experience.
- Proficient understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JS and jQuery.
- Advanced knowledge of PHP (5+ years) and MySQL (3+ years).
- Experience interacting with JSON RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with WP Engine (2+ years).
- WordPress Plugin Development Experience Required (2+ years).
- Experience working with Azure DevOps (1+ years).
- Elementor visual designer experience.
- Understanding of custom post-type development and implementation via visual designers.
- Experience with CMS parent and child theme development.
- Experience with GIT version control tools and local development.
- Strong understanding of data architecture.
- Knowledge of schema markup and code optimization for search rankings.
- Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
