As our Electronical Medical Records (EMR) Specialist, you will help physicians by extracting patient medical records from various EMR systems. Every day you will be reviewing customer records and uploading those into a portal. You will also act as a liaison with Case Managers to ensure cases are reviewed within specific turnaround time guidelines. To thrive in this role, you must be detail-oriented, technically competent, with the ability to understand medical records from various EMR systems.

To thrive in this role, you must be detail-oriented, technically competent, with the ability to understand medical records from various EMR systems.
Here’s what you will experience working as an EMR Specialist:
- Maintain working EMR access for navigation and basic troubleshooting.
- Consistent communication with physician teams regarding case issues, case completion, and portal workflow.
- Attach pertinent clinical information to portal cases and follow cases to completion within outlined service level agreements.
- Provide customer support and reach out to site managers for missing data.
- Support physician needs which will include obtaining additional documentation, assisting physicians within EMR systems to locate patients and other documentation, routing cases to physicians as needed, and troubleshooting any technical issues regarding EMR systems and the R1 PAS (Physician Advisory Services) portal.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two weekends per month with a requirement of four holidays from each defined holiday group on a first come first serve basis.
