Remote Procurement Sourcing Specialist

Job Purpose:

Seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join our team! The individual in this role will need to align with internal stakeholders and 3rd party vendors to measurably reduce total vendor spend across all of Edgio via strategic sourcing.

Essential Functions:

• Partner hand-in-hand with sourcing managers and internal stakeholders to drive vendor consolidations and cost reductions within assigned portfolio using best-in-class sourcing techniques.
• Manage facilities consolidations, lease exits, lease footprint decreases and associated tasks (air permit cancellations, lease termination notices, etc.).
• Create total client satisfaction through hand-in-glove partnership with internal stakeholders to scope, develop, and lead sourcing events from client intake through RFP award & contract T&C negotiations.
• Serve the SME role for market intelligence across assigned portfolio.
• Manage & complete tactical activities: PO issuance support, invoice reconciliation, contract data mining, hardware tag management & service/warranty contracts, etc.
• Experience using Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement
• Complete other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

Experience and Education (minimums):

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 years job related work experience

• A strong passion for sourcing!
• Flexible, open to change, & resilient.
• Strong client relationship management skills with a history of successful client partnerships.
• Strong 3rd party negotiation skills.
• Strong supplier relationship management (SRM) skills.
• Ability to analyze and report financial impact across a variety of procurement measures (cost avoidance, EBIT, etc.).
• Ability to influence business decisions and manage change.
