Crane Currency has an immediate position opening for a Regional Sales Director - Remote supporting the Sub-Saharan region. The ideal candidate must be geographically mobile and would be regionally based in Africa or Dubai.

How You Will Make An Impact

As Regional Sales Director, you will play a leading role in an exciting, fast-growing organization known for innovative currency and banknote technology. You will be responsible for a growing and dynamic area of the world. Drawing upon your expertise, you will play a vital role developing sales strategy and planning in one of Crane's crucial regional markets – developing critical 1:1 relationship with key clients. Together with other Regional Sales Directors this position will help Crane meet its long-term objectives for regional growth. We are seeking a proven sales leader who is familiar with the Currency Industry and the specifics of the business. The right candidate should be comfortable with frequent travels and with leading strategic & complex projects as well as with engaging with Crane’s base of sophisticated Central Bank clients.

  • Provide strategy and leadership for target sales accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales plans for Crane Currency in a sales region.
  • Maintain sales and contact databases for the entire region.
  • Assist the forecasting of the global currency business.
  • Represent Crane Currency during global sales and industry forums.
  • Establish good working relationships with business leaders, operations and corporate staff.


Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 5 years in the Currency Industry as Sales leadership position with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Understanding or the ability to learn the technical specifics of Crane’s currency product line.
  • Fluency in English and French. Portuguese is preferable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Great presentation skills.


Preferred

  • Master’s Degree or commensurate experience.
  • Proven experience working within a dynamic sales team in the currency branch.
  • Familiarity with Central Banking working infrastructure.
  • Preferred knowledge in Salesforce.

Where We Are

Remote – Your role is remote. You will be based out of your home office and travel to our sites when it is necessary.
