We are looking for an experienced Backend TypeScript Developer to design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern backend technologies, with a passion for creating efficient and reliable server-side applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using TypeScript and Node.js
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and GraphQL services
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Integrate with various third-party APIs and services related to travel and booking
- Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration between client and server
- Implement security best practices and data protection measures
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Working hours overlapping with US Eastern Time
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent job experience
- 3+ years of experience in backend development using TypeScript and Node.js (Nest.js is a plus)

- Experience with relational database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Experience in the travel tech industry
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues
- Knowledge of serverless computing and FaaS (Function as a Service)
- Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code
- Experience in data modeling complex data domains
