About the job
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for developing testing strategies, reporting test execution progress, and collaborating with an engineering team.
Your contribution will include
- Help develop, improve, and employ testing strategies and techniques
- Work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Report on test execution progress and results
- Participate in design and specification reviews and use this information to design test plans
- Promote QA productivity through best practices
You’ll be a great fit if you have the following:
- 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
- Web UI and API testing experience is a must
- Experience with Linux command line (Debian and RHEL) is a must.
- Experience with Virtualization — VMs, ESXI
- Familiarity with issue tracking tools (Jira) and understanding of Agile (Scrum, Kanban)
- Upper-intermediate English level, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication abilities
Bonus points f or:
- Knowledge of networking (OSI model, DNS, VPN, etc.)
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Digital Ocean)
- Knowledge of authentication protocols (PAM, LDAP, Local (SQLite DB), AD) and security tools, as well as understanding SSL web certificate use and PKI
