The Role

We are delighted to be searching for the role European Grants and Subsidies Specialist. Upon successful application for this position, you will become an integral member of the Finance and Business Service’s team. Based remotely and working in a Central European time zone, with a hands-on approach, you will be developing and executing the grants and subsidies process for the company, primarily in the R&D area, and managing the end-to-end processes for all our portfolio of funding projects and programs across the business. In this capacity, you will be tasked with calculating, writing, submitting and validating projects to successfully obtain funding from a wide range of projects and programmes.

You will be responsible for:

• Development and implementation of the grants and subsidies process
• Drafting application documents and administrative and technical files
• Follow-up of responses from contributor agencies and organisations
• Coordination with technical teams to ensure technical information is provided accurately and timely
• Drafting of final reports and control procedures
• Calculating, collecting and analysing data to complete the applications

About You

• A self-motivated, curious individual who shows initiative and the drive to investigate opportunities and work with limited supervision
• A result and output driven individual, who can close out actions efficiently
• Owning the public funding process and promoting it across the entire organization
• An organised nature with experience of managing multiple tasks at once
• Is able to communicate and work with all business functions to gather and drive initiatives business wide
• Be comfortable in accomplishing ad-hoc and reoccurring tasks
• Is reliable and trustworthy to work on sensitive information
• Fluency in written and spoken German plus a high level of English written and spoken. Further additional languages are beneficial but not essential
• The ability to manage deadlines and meet targets on time and in full
• Ideally have worked in a similar role either at the recipient or agency side of the process
