We are a small team of engineers working for Stanson Health, a department of Premier Inc. We are a group on a mission to improve the quality of care to all patients in the United States Of America. Developing and maintaining products used by doctors and other healthcare professionals across the country.
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on Typescript development. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and be passionate about creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. While your primary work will be with React, you should also be comfortable reading and understanding other frameworks to handle bug fixes and perform refactoring in legacy code when needed and have a general knowledge of typescript and Javascript.

Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.

- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React in Typescript.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
- Collaborate closely with a small, tight-knit team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.

Relevant Experience to include:
- Strong understanding of modern typescript development and testing practices
- Strong proficiency in React and a deep understanding of modern frontend development practices.
- Ability to read and understand code in older frameworks (e.g., Legacy Angular) to perform bug fixes and refactoring as needed.
- Comfortable working in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Comfortable taking ownership of a project from start to finish
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical requirements to project managers
- Experience with UI/UX design or a strong interest in learning more about it.
- Knowledge of backend development or full-stack experience is nice to have.
