We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer in our R&D Department. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will lead the development of our energy monitoring system and web-app, with the opportunity to create a positive impact on the fight against climate change. The ideal candidate is a proficient engineer with a passion for designing and implementing software systems from scratch who is looking for the opportunity to own their own project. The successful candidate will have full autonomy on system design and implementation with minimal interference.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of our new energy management web platform, creating an engaging UI for our clients to gain insight into their energy consumption.
  • Own our web-development stack, from the development of new features, all the way to implementation and maintenance.
  • Take the lead in making critical decisions about system architecture as we grow our user base.
  • Own the data pipeline from our fleet of IoT devices to our cloud database, deploy the software and services needed to acquire energy data from our client sites, working closely with our field technicians to ensure smooth and accurate data collection.
  • Manage and develop our existing cloud infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our application and user data.


Requirements:

  • BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in full-stack web development with a proven track record in delivering projects, from initial concept to deployment
  • Proficient in a selection of front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js and back-end languages such as Python, Node.js, Rails.
  • Proficient in managing cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Expertise in managing complex projects in a dynamic company while collaborating with various disciplines and teams.
  • Senior-level with the ability to lead the project from design to implementation.
