Duties
- Join the Product analytics team working in tandem with Product Analysts
- Own product datasets, making sure those are clean, tested and easy to understand by all stakeholders
- Create robust documentation to drive awareness and standardize product analytics terminology
- Implement best analytics engineering practices, to produce high quality, maintainable, and scalable DBT models
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with different teams within the organization, specify requirements, reach agreements, and promote the effective utilization of data
- Make intelligent choices for the adoption of new technologies based on your extensive experience
- Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, DBT, LookML, and Looker
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math or equivalent
- Experience designing and implementing a data warehouse, modern BI architecture
- Experience with version control tools (GitHub, GitLab)
- You have product analytics and/or data engineering experience
- You have a proven track record of success in building a modern data foundation with DBT and LookML
- You have a product mindset
- You have worked with large-scale data model refactoring for better performance and maintainability.
