About the Role

Planful is thrilled to expand into Germany, and we're seeking a dynamic, high-energy Solution Consultant to join us as one of the founding members of the DACH region. You'll work closely with prospective Planful customers, leveraging your expertise to address their challenges and demonstrate the unique value that Planful offers. This is a unique opportunity to be a key player in a high-growth SaaS company, driving success from the ground up in a vibrant and rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sales Cycle: Support the sales process with solution-based activities, including customized product demonstrations, Proofs of Concept, and hands-on workshops.
  • Industry Expertise: Confidently present industry and domain-focused knowledge to convey a deep understanding of prospective customers' needs.
  • Value Demonstration: Illustrate the business benefits and value of Planful's solutions to potential customers.
  • Opportunity Qualification: Drive the initial evaluation and qualification of customer opportunities, ensuring alignment with their goals and challenges.
  • Product Mastery: Maintain a high level of product competence by staying updated on new product enhancements, best practices, and offerings.
  • Team Energy: Bring a high level of energy and enthusiasm to the team, inspiring colleagues and customers alike.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Embrace an entrepreneurial mindset, contributing creative ideas and perspectives to all internal and external interactions.

What you Bring to the Table

  • 5+ years in multi-product solution selling within the cloud-based FP&A and consolidation sector, or other similar application softwares focused on finance.
  • Working knowledge of Financial Planning and Analysis and/or Accounting standards and practices and the associated challenges and pains experienced by finance and the broader business.
  • Able to understand and explain business and technical issues related to Customer's proposed solution.
  • Outstanding communication (written and oral), organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to execute to a plan and demonstrate ownership.
  • Strong executive presence and presentation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize opportunities and tasks
  • Fluent in German & English
