Job Description Summary

The Women's Health Ultrasound Segement Manager (f/m/d) for Eastern Europe is an internationally orientated position. You will be responsible for identifying and developing of additional market potential. This includes the development and realisation of segment strategies and marketing concepts, recognising and

incorporating market needs and technological trends as well as developing and recommending adjustments to the product portfolio. With targeted communication you will build up a network of contacts with opinion leaders and work closely with various stakeholders.

In this position you will lead a small team and work on a home based basis throughout Europe.

Job Description

As Women's Health Ultrasound Segement Manager you are responsible for:

Product Launches

  • Coordinate clinical studies, initiate and support the certification process for regulatory clearance.
  • Pre-market analysis based on third party vendors, internet, distributors and customers.
  • Designing the market launch for all sub-regions of Eastern Europe as part of sales and application training for direct and indirect teams.

Product Positioning

  • Reorganisation of the Voluson portfolio, adjustment of pricing to market needs for the Eastern Europe region.
  • Development and implementation of a go-to-market strategy.
  • Develop and improve our marketing strategy for both current and new products in the portfolio and corresponding launch initiatives.
  • Develop and improve our strategy for the Clinical Care segment.
  • Maintaining our focus on the franchise business (incl. service).

Forecasts And Analyses

  • Analysing quarterly and annual results in comparison with historical results, analysing results at product level and analysing the areas in which we are not successful, with concrete action plans from marketing to sales.
  • Responsibility for annual planning and forecasting.

Marketing

  • Working closely with internal and external marketing teams.
  • Developing ideas and creating brand awareness through campaigns to generate leads and enable sales.
  • Observing and analysing market dynamics and capturing market and clinical trends within Eastern Europe.

Pricing

  • Continuous review of market and competitor pricing in each Eastern European country.
  • Development of a pricing database, quotation matrix, benchmarking.
  • If required, development of a customised approach for each country, monitoring of price realisation and deviations.

Management Of The Demo Pool

  • Managing the movements of the demo pool and actively supporting the sales process.
  • Maintenance, upgrading, updating, repair of the demo pool.

Communication (internal And External)

  • Building strong relationships with key opinion leaders within Eastern Europe.
  • Planning and promotion of customer events (congresses, workshops), sponsoring, invited speakers.
  • Further development of partnerships with societies, associations and research organisations in the region (local representatives of ISUOG, FMF, MFM, ESGO, ESHRE, IOTA, Endometriosis Society).

Qualifications

  • Successfully completed studies in business administration, marketing or comparable qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in marketing and product management
  • Several years of experience in the ultrasound industry
  • Analytical competence and technical affinity
  • Strong customer orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • High willingness to travel (50%)
