We have an exciting opportunity for a home-based Business Analyst to join us within our MGA business. Reporting into the Operational Excellence Manager, you will be a pivotal part of a fast-paced team, dedicated to managing the deployment of change through business analysis and project management. You will provide comprehensive support to internal partners ensuring our projects run smoothly.
As the UK Commercial MGA for Ardonagh Advisory; a Gold rated Investor in Customer insurance business Geo specialise in Agriculture, Construction, Property, Liability, Marine and Protection lines, and home to top brands such as Thames Underwriting, Rural and Bravo Networks Underwriting, and continue to see successful growth both organically and through considered acquisition.
What does the role of a Business Analyst here involve?
Responsibilities
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your Line Manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all the following and more:
- Work closely with the Head of business Systems and department leads to understand our strategic and financial priorities.
- Ensure all tasks are untaken and delivered in accordance with the provisions of our pricing and underwriting plans.
- Provide regular reporting to the Underwriting Leadership Team.
- Provide timely and accurate implementation of market rates across all channels such as broker software houses, portals and our own internal rating engines.
- Work closely with underwriting teams to ensure pricing, underwriting, endorsement, coverage, documentation and any changes are achieved.
- Ensure all aspects of pricing or scheme development or changes are tested accurately and efficiently.
- Identify key risks to our business’s success and sustainability, and take responsibility for actions that mitigate these risks.
This Is An Opportunity For An Experienced Business Analyst, Ideally With Experience From An Insurance Market And Has a Knowledge Of General Insurance Products. We Are Looking For Someone Has
- Knowledge of pricing model design and maintenance.
- Experience using testing tools such as F1 Premier Test.
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment.
- Operational IT experience.
