Deputy to the Head of Eastern Europe

Responsibilities:

Monthly Market Analysis:

• Monitor and provide regular updates on market trends, including market share, governmental support/incentives, and legislation changes.
• Analyze market size and segment split to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
• Monitor shipments and provide insights into market dynamics and Trina Solar's performance.

Business Strategy and Planning:

• Assist in creating a business strategy and plan for the Eastern European region, aligned with Trina Solar's overall objectives.
• Contribute to the identification of key growth areas, target markets, and strategic partnerships.

Competitor’s Analysis:

• Conduct competitor analysis to track competitor activities, product offerings, and market positioning.
• Monitor the performance and activities of top players in the region.

Top customers monitoring

• Collaborate with the Sales Managers to monitor the performance of top customers.
• Evaluate Statement of Work (SOW) compliance and provide support in developing marketing plans.
• Identify issues and develop improvement plans in collaboration with the Sales Manager.

Marketing Analysis

• Conduct comprehensive marketing analysis to understand market dynamics, consumer behavior, and emerging trends.
• Provide insights to support the development of effective marketing strategies and campaigns.

Conduct detailed product analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) for Trina Solar.

Support communication with headquarters (HQ) on various topics, including market updates, business performance, and strategic initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of strategies and plans.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in market analysis, competitor research, and business strategy development, preferably within the solar energy or renewable energy industry in Europe.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives to achieve business objectives.
• Fluent languages skills in English and Chinese. Eastern European language would be a plus
