An established leader in software solutions, our client seeks a motivated Software Support / Account Manager to expand their dynamic team. This role combines technical acumen with customer service excellence, focusing on enhancing educational outcomes through innovative software tools. The successful candidate will enjoy the flexibility of working primarily from home, with occasional office visits in Warwick.
Role Overview
The Software Support / Account Manager will be instrumental in delivering first-level software support and managing client relationships to maximize product satisfaction and engagement. This position involves direct interaction with customers, providing product demonstrations, and effectively managing the customer journey from initial contact through to successful product adoption and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- **Customer Support:** Resolve software issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction and continuity of service.
- **Account Management:** Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and manage accounts meticulously to foster long-term relationships.
- **Demonstrations and Sales:** Conduct engaging software demonstrations, follow up on leads, and assist in navigating potential customers through the sales pipeline.
- **Training and Onboarding:** Ensure new users are proficient with our products through comprehensive training sessions.
- **Collaboration and Feedback:** Work closely with the development team to communicate customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
- **Reporting:** Regularly update management on account status, including challenges and opportunities for growth.
- Proven track record in software support, account management, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Robust understanding of software systems with a knack for mastering new technologies swiftly.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in performing software demos and achieving sales or performance targets.
- Effective problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and ticketing systems.
