Job Description: Part-Time Sales Executive / Sales Manager

Position Summary: Our EduTech startup is looking for a dynamic individual to take on a dual role as a Part-Time Sales Executive and Sales Manager. This role is designed for a versatile professional capable of both hands-on sales execution and overseeing a sales team. You will focus on driving user acquisition and managing the sales team to enhance performance and achieve strategic goals. An ideal candidate would have an existing network of sales professionals or a team ready to onboard, which would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Executive:

  • Lead Sourcing: Proactively source leads by exploring various channels such as social media, competitor platforms, professional networks, and more.
  • Lead Engagement: Engage potential users by initiating contact, discussing the benefits of our platform, and facilitating the registration process.
  • Lead Follow-Up: Maintain consistent follow-up with new leads to ensure their active participation and satisfaction with the platform.

As a Sales Manager

  • Recruitment & Team Assembly: Source and recruit top sales talent, including leveraging your existing network to quickly build an effective team. Develop and implement training programs tailored to enhance skills and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Sales Strategy & Performance Optimization: Collaborate with the sales team to craft effective sales strategies. Utilize analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales outcomes.
  • Team Management & Motivation: Set clear sales targets, monitor team performance, and provide ongoing coaching. Develop motivational strategies to enhance team morale and productivity.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the management of the sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of leads and addressing any potential bottlenecks.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to align sales strategies with broader company objectives and ensure a cohesive approach to market.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience in managing a sales team, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with a diverse range of clients and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a positive, proactive attitude in a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the latest market trends and customer behavior in the education sector is preferred.
