The Fleet Management team is responsible for improving inventory efficiency by analyzing field resource data to identify excess assets while executing strategies to support future opportunities. Last Mile Logistics planning and partnership with the field agents is a key part of our responsibilities. Responsibilities include - data analysis, distributor collaboration, and cross functional work with Sales, Supply Chain, Audit Team, Customer Solutions & Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of field inventory levels in comparison to case quantity volume to identify any underutilized assets or underserved markets.
  • Quarterly engagement with sales directors and distributors to manage return of underutilized sets, coordinate returns and placements with follows-up as necessary.
  • Own day -to-day analysis of field inventory, object type updates, home location uploads, and any additional administration tasks.
  • Identify, resolve, and maintain records (as needed) of inventory discrepancies and support creating processes to help prevent moving forward.
  • Ensure appropriate procedures are being followed internally and externally in compliance with inventory management and quality measures.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting on resource performance to the sales team.
  • Create reports/lead initiatives to communicate insights and recommendations to operations and sales leadership.
  • Develop and track KPIS such as asset utilization, pullback numbers, and set placement by source location
  • Support the execution and continuous improvement of processes including new technologies, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.
  • Integrate learning from customers, competitors, distribution, customer service, other industries, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.
  • Utilize problem solving techniques, tact, and discretion when handling interaction with sales reps, sales managers, and customers.
  • Conduct special projects as directed and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated strength in analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data to make recommendations.
  • Demonstrated excellence in building relationships across various levels in an organization, previous cross functional roles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to utilize tact, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Knowledge of company products, functions, policies, and procedures is preferred.
  • Experience working with customers is preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device industry is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Inventory management and customer relationship management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

Education and Experience

  • Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, mathematics, or economics.
  • 3-5 years preferred of business, supply chain, customer service, sales operations or related work experience.

Salary Range

Alphatec Spine, Inc. complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate’s qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $95,000 to $110,000 Full-Time Annual Salary
