How will you drive value within the organization as a Loan Processor?
- Log and review funding packages to meet guidelines including but not limited to reviewing/clearing contract errors, reviewing income, verifying collateral, and performing customer interviews
- Manage inbound and outbound phone calls to customers regarding their applications and accounts
- Research and verify proof of employment, income, residence, and insurance as required
- Address funding issues, including escalating issues as necessary
- Maintain acceptable turnaround time to achieve volume targets
- Maintain electronic records and files
- Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
- Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management
What should you already know to be successful as a Loan Processor?
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Financial services and/or auto industry experience preferred but not required
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to establish priorities and properly manage multiple high priority tasks
- Confident self-starter that operates well with limited supervision
- Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels inside and outside of the organization
- Meets deadlines without missing important details
- Basic skills in using a variety of computer software applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office Products, required
- Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
- Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies
Employment Requirements:
- Remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the workday
- Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment
- Talk and hear to exchange accurate information
- Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
- Lift up to 25 pounds
- Stoop and kneel to maintain files
Schedule:
- This position is full-time
- This is a position whereby business need will dictate the exact work schedule which should be expected to vary at times. Generally, days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, between the hours of 9:00am-8:00pm. Schedule could include Saturday 9am-8pm as needed.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required, including overtime hours as business demands dictate
- Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
