We're looking for a motivated and entreprenuerial team player to join our business in a key role to help drive our private lending business forward.

The opportunity
This role provide the opportunity to own day‑to‑day operations across the lending lifecycle while building the systems, processes and team that will scale the business. This is a senior position for a person who can direct the team, but can also get their hands dirty and do the hard work.
What you'll help manage and drive
- The sales team (currently 3 people), and from time-to-time run your own dealflow with key relationships. You will also manage our dealflow pipeline data in Hubspot, and evolve our KPI's and dashboard to keep the saleteam on their toes;
- Maintain key broker and borrower relationships;
- Servicing, collections, and workouts, in partnership with our servicer (Petra Loan Servicing). This will involve chasing late payments, working with our attorneys on enforcement and foreclosure matters, and managing our internal watchlist of loans;
- Managing the portfolio with our Head of Credit, and running loan extension and modifications;
- Collaborate with legal counsel to review and revise loan documentation for enforceability, compliance, and risk mitigation;
- Build and optimize internal systems: CRM workflows, task automation, licensing compliance tracking;
- Design and maintain HubSpot dashboards to assist the team with making data driven decisions;
- Build portfolio tracking tools and reporting workflows that support monthly executive reviews and decisions;
- Lead NMLS renewals and state licensing. Drive new state approvals end‑to‑end, including research and filings. Example: our recent Arizona approval;
- Oversee general office operations: vendors management, scheduling, inventory (read, making sure the fridge and pantry and always full with our favourite food and drinks!); and helping organize our weekly 'lunch and learn' sessions etc;
- Manage key vendor relationships with industry partners such as Petra Loan Servicing, SFR Analytics and our panel of attorneys;
- Lead onboarding and training for new team members. Ensure smooth setup across systems, tools, and internal workflows;
- Social media strategy and implementation for funded deals and brand content across LinkedIn, Instagram, and X.
Requirements

- A willingness to get involved across the business and help wherever needed;
- Experience using modern cloud platforms such as Google Workspace and Slack;
- Experience with HubSpot as a CRM is a significant advantage.
In addition to the above you will need to have at least 4 years of relevant experience in private lending, hard money or real estate bridging finance. You should have a clear working knowledge of the loan origination process, loan servicing, and enforcement.
