ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support MSK practices and PCPs participating in HOPCo value-based care programs through education, data analysis, and identification and review of performance improvement strategies. 
  • Analyze financial, operational, and clinical data; identify trends and develop actionable insights. 
  • Create and deliver presentations for providers, practice leadership, and staff. 
  • Collaborate with participating providers to ensure alignment with program goals and contractual requirements. 
  • Collaborate with other members of the HOPCo Value Based Care team to support program success on topics including digital clinic, provider audits, dashboard enhancements, operational reporting, and others as needed.
  • Independently manage projects and deadlines with minimal oversight. 
  • Develop tools, resources, and reports to support practice performance tracking and improvement. 
  • Support Network growth and strategy.  
  • Travel may be involved to support the above goals

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in value-based care, population health, or healthcare operations. 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Direct experience in orthopedics (clinical, quality, analytics, practice management) required. 

KNOWLEDGE

  • Fundamental understanding of risk arrangements and value-based care strategies.
  • General clinical knowledge of orthopedics and clinical workflows.
  • Billing and coding knowledge is desired.

SKILLS

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, PowerBI). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex data into clear findings.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills including frequent virtual meetings.

ABILITIES

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities. 

ENVIRONMENTAL WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 

 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS

  • This is largely a remote, work-from-home position with occasional but planned travel into market or corporate offices one to three times per year
  • Requires prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • The employee is expected to maintain a professional and distraction-free workspace with reliable internet access.
  • Work hours will require flexibility to accommodate meetings across different time zones.
  • Limited travel may be required for provider meetings, team meetings, training, or organizational events.
