We’re looking for a Digital Design Manager to lead the next wave of digital design at Screwfix. Reporting to the Senior Creative & Digital Manager, you’ll guide a team of digital designers to deliver bold, engaging, and on-brand digital experiences across web, app, and email.

You’ll balance creativity with operational know-how, making sure quality, consistency, and innovation sit at the heart of everything we deliver. From campaign launches to day-to-day content, you’ll be the driving force behind how customers experience Screwfix online.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and mentor a team of digital designers, creating a culture of collaboration and creativity
• Oversee design delivery across web, app, and email campaigns
• Champion design quality, UX, and accessibility in every project
• Streamline workflows and optimise processes to boost team efficiency
• Collaborate with Marketing, Ecommerce, and CRM teams to bring ideas to life
• Present creative concepts and performance insights to senior stakeholders
• Keep Screwfix ahead of design and technology trends
• Balance speed, creativity, and precision to deliver brilliant digital experiences

What we’re looking for

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

• Proven experience leading a team of digital designers
• Strong hands-on design expertise across web and email campaigns
• Mastery of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
• Understanding of HTML/CSS and responsive, mobile-first design principles
• Experience optimising design processes and managing multiple projects
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• A curious, innovative mindset, always looking for new ways to elevate the brand
• A balance of creative flair and operational discipline
