Job Purpose

DriveSafe is seeking a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst for a six-month project-based position to help us advance our use of data in decision-making across the organization. This role will work closely with leadership, operations, marketing, and technology teams to analyze business data, identify trends and opportunities, and support data-informed strategies for growth and efficiency. The ideal candidate is curious, analytical, and eager to work across a variety of business systems to uncover meaningful insights. This role offers the opportunity to shape how data is used at DriveSafe and to help lay the foundation for long-term data practices.

Job Details

This is a temporary full-time position with a 6-month employment duration. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are negotiable. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze data from various company systems, including our custom CRM/service scheduling database, telephony platform (RingCentral), marketing analytics, and KPI dashboards (Databox).

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to company leadership and managers.

• Identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for operational improvement and revenue growth.

• Evaluate the accuracy and completeness of data across different systems and recommend ways to improve data quality and reporting.

• Collaborate with our technology and IT staff to assess integration opportunities and streamline data flows between systems.

• Develop practical, data-driven recommendations that support business decisions across departments.

• Provide documentation and training materials to ensure ongoing use of any dashboards, tools, or reports created.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.

• Strong proficiency with Excel/Microsoft Sheets, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Databox), and database query tools (MySQL).

• Ability to write database queries using MySQL and understand advanced database schemas.

• Familiarity with data integration concepts, APIs, or custom CRM systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations

• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data clearly to non-technical audiences.

What to expect in the hiring process

• We accept initial applicants through quick-apply, requiring only basic contact information and a current resume. If you are selected to move forward based on these qualifications, you will be asked to meet with a member of our HR team via Microsoft Teams video call for an initial 30-minute interview.
• Candidates that are selected to move forward are asked to submit a full job application including authorization for background check.
• Second round interviews will then be conducted with applicants and a Hiring Manager and/or Senior Management at the DriveSafe location or virtually by request.
• As a pre-employment step, candidates are asked to provide a copy of their 7-Year Motor Vehicle Record to demonstrate safe driving history.
