As part of our Core Capital Markets Product Team, you’ll be leading improvements and Product build for our critical Post Trade services platform. Your ability to interpret and understand market trends and client operational flows, and consequently convert into Product-led solutions, is essential.

The role will be responsible for the ongoing service and monitoring of our outstanding FX post trade confirmation platform. You will take an active ownership role to ensure that the core service remains running smoothly, with establishing yourself as a subject matter authority for critical issues on sophisticated client queries. You will also be required to lead the improvement pipeline for future development, ensuring compliance with key market standards and a focus on establishing client solutions that maintain or drive an increase to revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Lead the for the feature improvement pipeline with a dedicated Development and QA Team. This will involve evaluating an existing list and crafting new requirements to drive continuous improvement and client service, in line with a new priority framework

  • Business Analysis and Product produced requirements - document detailed business requirements in Confluence and JIRA, and be comfortable working within an AGILE project management framework
  • Being a go-to for the platform, its functionalities and nuances, and general STP for both internal and external partners. This will include client demonstrations of our GUI and its functionality, as well as facing off to the business on our development priorities
  • Handle annual SWIFT Standards changes, including ISO 20022 migration of core message types.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • You have an in-depth understanding of the FX post-trade market, having had previous experience of an operational role within FX products. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of FX trade lifecycle across all instrument types, and how to proactively mitigate against key risks: market, operational and settlement.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial services’ industry rules and regulations, and an understanding of what best practice means within Product
  • An ability to consume market-wide guidelines or client requests, and formulate into Product specifications that offers an improvement to our service
  • Comfortable with client integration connections and protocols (e.g FIX, XML, CSV)
  • An ability to take ownership and a willingness to be accountable for delivery
  • Be able to lead expectations across clients and colleagues, whilst forging a strong rapport to help our objectives
  • Continually strive for excellence, buy always handled with integrity.
