About Us:
Shoreline Christian School is a Christ-centered educational community committed to nurturing the hearts and minds of students. We are seeking a part time passionate and dedicated Middle School Coed Head Soccer Coach who loves the Lord and desire to serve in a Christian school environment. Our greatest accomplishment and hope as teachers and coaches is that every child will know they are special and created in God's image.
Position Overview:
The Middle School Coed Head Soccer Coach will lead and develop the middle school soccer program, fostering both athletic and Christ-centered character. This role includes planning practices and games, teaching fundamental skills, and encourgaging teamwork and sportsmanship. The coach will strive to create an environment where the student-athletes pursue excellence both on and off the court.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead practices, games, and team activities.
- Teach soccer fundamentals, techniques, and strategies appropriate for middle school athletes.
- Model Christian values to players, parents, and the community.
- Communicate effectively between athletes, parents, and school administration.
- Ensure adherence to Shoreline Christian School and Cascade Middle School League (CMSL) rules.
- Oversee the care and management of team equipment and uniforms.
Qualifications:
- Prior soccer coaching or playing experience preferred.
- Ability to positively lead middle school athletes in a disciplined and encouraging manner.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well collaboratively.
- Commitment to the mission and values of Shoreline Christian School.
- Must pass a background check.
