SUMMARY
Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of our proprietary software platform that supports core business operations across our professional services teams. This role will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the software delivers high value, usability, and scalability to meet the firm’s growing needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on user feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with internal departments (Technical Services, HR, Finance, Client Services, etc.) to gather requirements, understand workflows, and business priorities.
- Facilitate regular stakeholder reviews and feedback sessions.
Execution & Delivery
- Own the product backlog, write user stories, and manage sprint planning.
- Work with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and UX designers to deliver product releases on time and within scope.
User Experience & Adoption
- Champion intuitive design and user experience improvements.
- Develop training materials and support change management efforts to drive adoption.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor product performance and usage metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with IT and support teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in SaaS or B2B environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience working with or within professional services firms (consulting, legal, accounting, etc.) is a strong plus.
- Proven success managing internal software products or platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with tools like Asana, Jira, Confluence, and wireframing software.
- Experience with workflow automation, CRM, or ERP systems, preferred.
- Background in business process improvement or operations, preferred.
- Technical fluency to effectively communicate with development teams, preferred.
COMPENSATION
Salary range: $125,000 - $145,000. This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role.
The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please note, the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive bonus program, which is dependent on various factors, including, but not limited to, individual and organizational performance.
