Position Overview
As the Warehouse Manager for the Temple location, you will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of company products. You will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, maintaining inventory control, enforcing safety and compliance standards, and ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on schedule.
In addition, you will be responsible for reconciling and checking in drivers at the end of each day to verify product returns, confirm that all payments have been collected, and ensure deposits are made accurately and promptly. This position also oversees forklift certification and training and assists with fleet-related matters as needed, including responding to vehicle accidents when other management staff are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Warehouse Operations & Oversight
- Manage all daily warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, staging, loading, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure all warehouse operations meet company standards for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Reconcile and check in drivers daily to verify product returns, customer payments to drivers, and route documentation.
- Balance route funds and ensure all collected monies (checks) are deposited accurately and in a timely manner. This position will deposit checks that the drivers collect daily via a remote deposit capture device
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment in compliance with sanitation and safety standards.
Leadership & Staff Management
- Hire, train, and develop warehouse employees to ensure a capable and motivated team.
- Manage daily staffing levels, schedules, and task assignments to meet operational needs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback, and issue corrective action as needed.
- Foster a positive and professional work environment built on accountability, respect, and teamwork.
Safety, Compliance & Equipment Oversight
- Enforce OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards throughout all warehouse operations.
- Oversee forklift certification and training programs, ensuring that only certified employees operate equipment.
- Conduct safety audits, equipment inspections, and ensure documentation is maintained and up to date.
- Assist with fleet operations when needed, including responding to vehicle accidents and supporting post-incident procedures.
Inventory & Quality Control
- Maintain inventory accuracy through consistent cycle counts and audits.
- Ensure proper product rotation, organization, and handling to prevent loss and maintain quality.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with accounting and operations teams.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to warehouse accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
Collaboration & Communication
- Coordinate with delivery, sales, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operational flow.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and internal teams regarding product, delivery, and inventory matters.
- Support company goals through proactive communication, strong organization, and attention to detail.
Administrative & Reporting Responsibilities
- Review daily warehouse and driver reconciliation reports to ensure accuracy and completion.
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory, safety, and warehouse performance.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Other Duties
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support overall warehouse and company operations.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Experience in the beverage distribution industry or a similar fast-paced warehouse environment is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, staging, loading, and inventory control.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable using warehouse or ERP software.
- Experience working with an ERP system or other inventory management software for tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Must be capable of operating a computer, navigating software platforms, and learning new systems and tools as needed.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards, DOT regulations, and general fleet safety practices.
- Ability to operate and train others on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Other Requirements:
- Must possess or be able to obtain forklift certification.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including early mornings or late evenings to support operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
