Saphire Event Group, with five boutique venues in the South Shore, is looking for an Event Producer to join our production team and bring unforgettable celebrations to life! In this role, you’ll guide couples through every step of the planning process — from initial consultation and menu design to tastings, rehearsals, and day-of execution. You’ll serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring every detail aligns with the couple’s vision and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead client meetings, manage event details, and coordinate with vendors.
  • Oversee on-site event execution, ensuring seamless timelines and client satisfaction.
  • Support sales with client inquiries, property tours, and menu upsells.
  • Organize tastings and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, process payments, and uphold SEG policies.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events and priorities.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and extended shifts.
  • Hospitality or event planning experience preferred.

Requirements

 EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 1-year experience as a wedding planner or producer/or has interned in the industry for a minimum of 3 months.
  • Able to handle high amounts of stress and able to multitask.
  • Previous hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • A college degree in hospitality or management is preferred.
  • Computer skills include knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Caterease and Social Tables is a plus.
  • Must be assertive while maintaining the diplomacy of a good negotiator.
  • Must be organized, creative, and knowledgeable about a variety of religious and cultural customs.
