Location: Hybrid working opportunity from the following IB (International Baccalaureate®) Global Centres: Cardiff (UK) or The Hague (Netherlands) requiring 1-2 days onsite per week

About the Job

The Reward Manager provides specialised support and advice within the IB’s Global HR Team with a focus on managing IB’s Total Rewards Strategy. 

This position supports the development, implementation and administration of the IB’s Total Rewards Strategy, in accordance with the IB and global HR strategy, as well as legal rules and regulations in order to attract and retain high quality staff for IB worldwide in compliance with legal and company standards. 

This includes job grading based on critical analysis of the IB, manages salary and bonus review cycles, gender pay analysis, global benefits analysis etc.  This position is recognised as a thought leader for compensation and benefits related trends and developments.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and responsible for the implementation of the IB Total Reward Strategy.
  • Lead the Job Evaluation activity and retain stewardship of the job evaluation process. Responsible for ensuring an updated job description registry is kept. 
  • Responsible for the execution of annual pay review exercises and its related reporting to the Executive Team and Board.
  • Execute annual salary benchmarking exercise, analyse results and propose salary band aging as appropriate.
  • Responsible for development, review and implementation of global compensation related policies and variable pay schemes.
  • Develop and review gender pay reporting, and propose actions as appropriate.
  • Execute benefits benchmarking to review and harmonise benefits package across global centres .
  • Responsible for the periodic review of international hire packages.
  • Accountable for full oversight of HCM Compensation and benefits module as an internal superuser.
  • Support the annual workforce planning exercise for budgeting.
  • Support stakeholders with ad-hoc Reward-related projects and activities as required.
  • Oversight of compensation reporting and survey submission to ensure high standards of data integrity

Qualifications

About You

  • Significant experience of managing compensation & benefits and expatriate management, to include reward calendars and reward cycles. 
  • Thorough knowledge of Hay Grade Job Evaluation System and/or other job grading systems.
  • Previous experience in preparing materials (presentations and papers) for review and discussion at senior executive / board level.
  • Experience of managing pay review practices and administering variable pay / bonus schemes.
  • Understanding of benefit management to include flexible benefits and insured benefits (ie. Life assurance).
  • Experience in HRIS modules related to Compensation & Benefits.
  • Experience within a Global organisation advantageous but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel (Lookups, Pivot Tables, statistical analysis, etc), PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Working knowledge of data tools such as Tableau, Phyton, Power BI etc.
  • Broad knowledge of creating dashboards using data visualisation software.
  • Experience of other domains of HR (workforce planning, performance management) is a benefit. 
  • Ability to maintain, analyse and report on data at a high standard; strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines, with ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong cultural awareness

    • Annual Salary in the region of GBP 49,314 - 61,642 (negotiable dependent on experience)
