Job Summary:

This position is responsible for developing, managing, and driving special projects and business initiatives for the organization. Project Managers act as a liaison between management and cross-functional departments to ensure that project timelines and goals are met. Project Managers leverage their expertise in one or more business functions to identify new initiatives that optimize business processes and support operational excellence.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and define project plans and scopes; prioritize needs and delegate tasks
  • Lead and monitor special projects; distribute progress reports to management and adjust project details or plans as needed to maintain timelines and achievement of goals 
  • Maintain regular communication with management and cross-functional departments; participate in meetings as needed to understand project and business needs 
  • Ensure project compliance with company standards, industry requirements, and best practices; maintain industry and business knowledge
  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional departments; identify process improvement opportunities 
  • Support cross-functional department questions and requests
  • Perform other tasks to support project management and business operations as needed

Experience and Education:

  • Minimum - 2 Year / Associate Degree and  3 - 5 years related experience and/or training
  • Preferred - 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree and 3 - 5 years related experience and/or training

Competencies, Experience, and Requirements:

  • Proficient computer skills; ability to use MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Technical ability to learn and use a variety of software programs, such as SyteLine and Asana
  • Proficient knowledge of project management processes to successfully organize and execute plans
  • Analytical; collects and researches data; uses intuition and experience to complement data
  • Creative; generates innovative solutions to improve operations
  • Advanced communication skills; speaks and writes thoughtfully; demonstrates active listening
  • Advanced interpersonal skills; effectively resolves conflicts; demonstrates empathy; maintains confidentiality
  • Detail oriented; meets quality standards and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
  • Organized; completes work in a timely manner; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
