Job Summary: |
Under the direction of the eCommerce General Manager the eCommerce iTech Team Lead will assist the general manager in managing and leading employees. The ITech Team Lead will also assist with the process of a variety of operational, quality assurance and technological duties that support e-Commerce, Shopgoodwill and Multi-Media Dept. The incumbent will be assigned a primary role and will cross-train in several different areas, such as product approval, photography and fulfillment; this may also include the technology aspect of listing products in the Multimedia resell platform called GoodFlix. |
Minimum Qualifications: |
Education | High School Diploma required, Associates Degree in Information Technology or Communications Preferred. |
Experience | 1 to 2 years as manager or related work experience in a production environment. |
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration | Must have a valid Florida driver’s license. |
Other | - Willing to “roll up your sleeves” and work “hands on”.

- ● Under the direction of the Assistant General Manager and General Manager responsible for production goals, maintaining and organizing the iTech department, which includes technology and media department, staffing and training the iTech team.
- ● Receive, sort and process DVDs, CDs, and Blu-ray donations sent from stores and donation centers, ensuring sellable items are approved for listing.
- ● Assist management with the production flow of tech items, DVDs, CDs and blue ray product sent from stores.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair products within Computers (PC and Apple) as well as various electronics. Ensures QA inspections.
- Runs daily and weekly reports pertaining to iTech operations for management staff
- ● Assist management with eCommerce revenue goals and budgeted expenses with the management staff.
- Assists in loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory.
- Assist in maintaining organization of inventory locations.
- ● Oversee eCommerce in the absence of the Assistant General Manager and/or General Manager day-to-day operations, opening, closing, and assigning tasks of eCommerce.
- ● Ensures compliance with all eCommerce and Company policy and procedures as outlined in eCommerce Manual, the Employee Handbook, and the other policies issued by Goodwill.
- ● Assist management with training staff in all aspects of their responsibilities, including adherence to all safety and company protocols and procedures promote a safe, productive work environment.
- Assist management with audits of the day-to-day performance of Associates and communicate all issues to eCommerce management.
- ● The team lead is to follow the “lead by example” set by the AGM and GM to promote harmony among employees and build employee morale.
- ● The team lead will report all grievances immediately to management for handling.
- ● Follows all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe productive work environment. Reporting all safety violations and/or misuse of company property to management.
- ● Safe guard company property and report an incident of theft, stashing, or misuse of company equipment to management.
- Prepare training and audit evaluation reports and submit to management for review.
- Work with General Manager and retail store leadership to resolve significant training and audit issues, and share best practices with the leadership staff.
- Perform all duties in a safe manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations including those required for the secure and safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV).
