QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent;
- Minimum of five (5) year’s business office experience with an emphasis on finance and accounting;
- Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
- Must be able to collaborate and manage multiple business/financial and accounting projects while managing daily office functions;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (WORD, Excel, Powerpoint, etc);
- Proficient editorial skills for preparing documents for publication;
- Compentency in the CFISD proficiency test (score 85 or above and a minimum of 50 wpm typing skills).
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
250 days
SALARY/PAYGRADE:
$49,363 – CP 8
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare correspondence and create forms, presentations and reports for the Assistant Superintendent of Support Services.
- Arrange conference registrations, which may include accommodations and travel for Assistant Superintendent for Educational Support Services
- Schedule meetings, and calendar appointments for Assistant Superintendent for Educational Support Services
- Assist with updates to the District’s website.
- Prepare documents for monthly school board agenda.
- Maintain budget for Educational Support Services.
- Reconcile Absences in Frontline. Assist with FMLA documentation and worker’s compensation claims.
- Maintain the All-Things Interpreters folder used district wide with procedural information, forms and a call list to for using interpreters for Special Education screenings, testing, meetings and therapy.
- Track and process payments for services provided by Interpreters
- Maintain department staff directory, emergency information and department email groups
- Process monthly mileage for staff
- Assist District 504 coordinator, with budget, HB payroll and mileage
- Conference registrations for district and dept staff
- Order badges for district and department staff
- Manage facility needs/process work orders, communicate with custodians and other departments regarding department needs.
