Position Overview:

The Business Development Representative (BDR) supports the growth of sales through proactive outreach, relationship management, and marketing initiatives. This role partners closely with Mortgage Consultants, Loan Officers, and external real estate agents or business partners to increase brand visibility, generate leads, and strengthen referral relationships. The BDR plays a key role in driving local market engagement through event coordination, marketing campaigns, and consistent partner communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Relationship Development & Support

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral partners to promote company products and services.
  • Assist sales team members with identifying and nurturing new business opportunities.
  • Conduct outreach to new agent contacts through phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Coordinate and participate in local marketing and networking events, open houses, and trade shows to represent the company.

Marketing & Promotion

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns that increase visibility and lead generation.
  • Manage and distribute marketing materials, presentations, and co-branded content for agents and partners.
  • Support social media and digital marketing efforts to enhance the company’s local presence.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance and provide insights to the sales team.

Sales Enablement

  • Assist Mortgage Consultants with partner communication, event planning, and customer engagement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM systems for partner and lead tracking.
  • Schedule and coordinate partner meetings, training sessions, and appreciation events.
  • Support follow-up efforts on leads and referrals to ensure timely communication and conversion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales support, business development, or marketing (real estate or mortgage industry experience a plus).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to attend networking events, travel locally, and represent the company professionally.
