As a Principal Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product roadmap and ensuring our solutions meet the highest standards.
What you'll do...
- Architect and design remote testing infrastructure.
- Design and implement hardware and software for small-footprint automation devices including embedded systems.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for remote lab evolution.
- Drive continuous improvement of lab infrastructure, tools, and processes.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain KPIs to track lab performance.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop resolution strategies.
- Leverage GitHub Copilot, LLM-based assistants, and other AI tools to accelerate development, enhance code quality, and drive innovation in automation and tooling.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior engineers.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (required).
- Hands-on experience in hardware design and debugging with Raspberry Pi or other embedded devices (required).
- Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and network engineering.
- Extensive experience in system architecture and automation platforms.
- Strong hands-on coding skills in C/C++ and Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React).
Bonus Points
- Experience with consumer electronics platforms (Smart TV, Set Top Box, Streaming devices).
- Full stack (front/backend) application/software development experience.
- Experience with multiple cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Knowledge of networking and security best practices.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
