Position Title: Senior Contract Support Specialist (SCS)

Location: *****MULTIPLE SITES***** ON SITE (Houston, TX; Little Rock, AR; Fayetteville, AR; Jackson, MS; New Orleans, LA; Biloxi, LA)

 Employment Type: Full-Time
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required; must pass background investigation
Hourly Rate: $41 - $46 per hour

Overview:

CLJ Consulting and Contracting LLC is hiring a Senior Contract Support Specialist to lead complex acquisition. This role requires deep knowledge of federal procurement regulations and experience managing high-value or specialized contracts.

Responsibilities:

• Lead acquisition planning and strategy development
• Draft and review complex solicitations, modifications, and IGCEs
• Provide expert guidance on FAR, VAAR, and agency-specific policies
• Support source selection and contract negotiations
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality control of deliverables

Qualifications:

• US Citizen
• 5 years of recent experience in federal acquisition (within the last 7 years)
• Bachelor’s degree + FAC-C or DAWIA certification
• Specialized experience in construction, healthcare, or leasing contracts
• Proficiency in federal systems (eCMS, CPARS, FPDS-NG, GSA eBuy)
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting VA or other healthcare-related federal contracts
• Familiarity with GSA eBuy and contract writing systems
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time of assigned office)
