JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State Brandywine, located just outside of Philadelphia, in Media, Pa., is seeking a part-time golf tennis coach. Penn State Brandywine is an NCAA DIII Provisional member that is competing in the United East Conference. Penn State Brandywine is working towards full NCAA membership.
Job Duties
- Manage all operations for the golf program.
- Recruit and retain high quality student-athletes.
- Schedule and coach practices.
- Schedule home and away competitions.
- Monitor annual operational and recruiting budgets.
- Ensure institutional, UEC, and NCAA obligations are met as head coach.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years coaching experience at the collegiate or high school level.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
