Job Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager through coordination efforts of materials handling, keeping storage areas clean and organized.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Loads/Offloads trucks and containers operating forklifts and lifting devices, ensuring compliance with Lift Plans, JSA’s or Work instructions.
Manages rigging lofts, lifts plans, JSA’s and Work Instructions ensuring compliance with Company policy and procedure.
Performs crane operations (rigging and slinging), as required ensuring compliance with Lift Plans, JSA’s or Work Instructions.
Responsible for the booking of Contract Lifting Services.
Manages warehouse and office general consumables, raising purchase requisitions as required to maintain inventory levels.
Physically checks deliveries against supplier’s delivery notes and purchase orders to provide proof of delivery.
Performs goods receipts, transfers, and transfer receipts in PeopleSoft.
Coordinates the preparation of goods shipments to various locations.
Packs and Loads containers for good shipments. Ensures all deliveries are properly packaged and protected prior to loading into containers.
Creates dangerous goods declaration forms as required.
Creates offshore manifests, cargo summaries and cargo check lists.
Liaison with rig storekeepers, operation management, third party logistics company representatives, etc. concerning the status of shipments.
Ships and Packs repair/return items.
Assists with cycle counts and physical inventory audits of warehouse
Assists with the maintenance/upkeep of the warehouse & main office block.
Delivers and collects company equipment supplies and vehicles.
Complies with HSE policies and procedures and ensure good housekeeping practices, including participating in safety meetings and completion of JSA’s.
Has a sound working knowledge of Supply Chain policies and procedures.
Leads in the warehouse weekly share call report, when required.
Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications / Education
Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university preferred
Minimum of 2-5 years in a similar role or business area
Skills & Experience
Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Competent in handling sensitive and confidential information
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite/PeopleSoft experience a plus
Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds
