The company has more than 60 locations through which it distributes products, equipment and chemicals, and provides customers with other value-added services including equipment repair, equipment rental and education.

Aramsco is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers, assisting with product inquiries and sales, and maintaining an organized and inviting showroom. The ideal candidate enjoys helping others, works well in a team environment, and thrives in a fast-paced retail or distribution setting.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Hourly rate: $18-20.00
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Provide product information, recommendations, and demonstrations to customers.

  • Accurately process sales orders, returns, and transactions while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Handle cash and credit transactions, prepare deposits, and follow standard procedures.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom and counter area.

  • Stock shelves in both the showroom and stockroom as needed.

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.

  • Support sales and marketing efforts by assisting with educational classes, including setup and cleanup.

  • Make courtesy calls to class attendees and follow up with past-due accounts as directed.

  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications/ Skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service or counter sales experience preferred.

  • Experience in janitorial, restoration, remediation, carpet cleaning, or installation industries is a plus.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Cash handling and basic accounting experience a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly.
