Summary:

The Mortgage Product Development Analyst will facilitate communication of technology updates, perform new user software training, daily error resolution, and periodic User Access Testing. This role is responsible for monitoring and researching agency, investor, and regulatory changes within Mortgage Origination to prepare and
maintain products, policies, procedures, and reference materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates Mortgage Development communications; responds to staff providing training assistance; troubleshoots to find cause-and-effect relationships; researches and escalates unresolved cases to IS Mortgage Support team.
  • Participates in Mortgage technology User Acceptance Testing to monitor and research all agency, regulatory, and internal changes related to Mortgage Origination (this includes Loan Origination, Processing, Underwriting, Closing, and Post-
    Closing/Delivery).
  • Communicates research of agency, investor, and regulatory changes to Mortgage Product Development Supervisor and/or department managers, compliance, and quality control to coordinate development of policy, procedures, and other resources.
  • Contributes technology announcements to the Mortgage Lending bulletins, providing training tips and procedures for distribution to Mortgage Origination staff.
  • Works with Manager of Mortgage Development and Mortgage System Analysts to
    coordinate any technology rollouts and enhancements.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
  • A high school degree is required; a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or other similar focus is strongly preferred.
  • General knowledge of the mortgage loan process and troubleshooting related technology applications including, but not limited to, Loan Origination software, online application websites, LoanBeam, mortgage insurance vendor websites, agency websites and applications, and vendor applications.
  • Requires a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must possess excellent written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Solid general knowledge of all functional areas within the Mortgage Division is strongly preferred.
  • Must be able to solve problems diplomatically, often seeking input from others.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite along with AllRegs, BlackKnight/Empower a plus.
