Job Summary:

Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. Manages internal operations for gifts, as well as annual giving program. Plans and manages Foundation Board meetings, duties and events.

Job Requirements:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree: Preferred
  • Five years' fundraising experience: Preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Assists the Director in specific fundraising and marketing activities to meet their financial goals. Researches and identifies opportunities for grants and develops documents (grant writing) to be submitted to foundations, organizations and/or institutions with appropriate follow-up. Oversees all aspects of planned giving, capital campaigns, annual giving projects, and special fund raising events.
  • Oversees donor database, reports and donor communications. Supports fundraising team in all areas of prospect identification and cultivation, donor solicitation, stewardship and recognition. Manages membership volume and recruitment.
  • Ensures maintenance of Foundation website. Acts as a liaison with the internal communications department to ensure the internal dissemination of all program information and news. Provides research and writing support for publications and presentation, including web content.
  • Oversees maintenance of financial records including incoming donations and expenses, reconciliation of credit card and bank statements, event financial management and reporting, weekly deposits and pledge payment management. Monitors Foundation monthly budget reports.
  • Serves as key liaison to community leaders. Coordinates and facilitates staff meetings, retreats and team-building events. Coordinates Board meeting planning and agendas with leadership.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
