Position Overview:
 

Insulet Corporation is looking for an eager and motivated intern to join our FP&A team. This temporary role will gain exposure to various financial partners as well as leaders outside finance in the Customer Experience organization. This individual will be exposed to and assist in financial planning, reporting and analysis for various Customer Experience groups. The individual will help establish robust tracking, dashboards, and process improvements. In addition, this role will provide a wide variety of financial analysis responsibilities that help business partners drive and execute sound decisions. This position will report to the Manager of Global E2E FP&A.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the Customer Experience division, including variance analysis and trend identification.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the FP&A team in the development and maintenance of budgets and forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.

  • Business Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Customer Experience operations, providing insights to drive decision-making and performance improvements.

  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and special projects within the Customer Experience division.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Customer Support departments to gather data, share insights, and support broader business objectives.

  • Presentation Support: Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for senior management and executive leadership meetings, summarizing financial performance and highlighting key insights.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience: 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree (current Junior) in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data effectively.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis preferred.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Interest in the healthcare industry and/or medical technology sector is a plus.

           

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Analytical thinker with ability to summarize financial data into clear and concise recommendations for decision support

  • Excellent MS Excel and financial modeling skills are required

  • Able to work in a fast pace, high-growth environment.

  • Has highest standards of integrity reflected in all external and internal communications.

  • Self-motivated, high energy, respectful, honest, and hard-working.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $25.00 - $34.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
