Summary: The Mobile Fleet Service Parts Representative plays a critical role in supporting the MFS repair team by managing all aspects of parts sourcing, ordering, and inventory tracking. This position ensures the timely procurement and delivery of parts for truck and trailer repairs, maintains communication with suppliers and team members, and provides administrative support for purchasing and billing activities.
Salary: $65,000-$75,000/year with possibility of an incentive
Location: Ephrata, PA
Essential Duties:
- Quote, bill, and order parts required for MFS repair orders.
- Source alternative part options and locate suppliers for all makes and models of trucks and trailers.
- Create purchase orders (POs) and process required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Place parts orders with OEM and aftermarket suppliers, coordinating delivery logistics to technicians or service locations.
- Monitor part delivery schedules and proactively communicate any delays or updated ETAs to the MFS team.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal locations and external vendors to support the needs of the MFS team.
- Track and maintain accurate parts inventory for all MFS service trucks.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures related to purchasing, invoicing, and inventory management.
Qualifications:
- Experience in parts sourcing or purchasing within the heavy-duty truck, trailer, or fleet services industry preferred.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Office-based with frequent communication with field technicians and suppliers.
- May require occasional visits to service locations or mobile technicians.
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of background checks and drug testing
