We’re excited to share that our continued growth has led to the creation of a new opportunity within our Human Resources team.
In this role as Human Resources Coordinator, you will be part of the HR team that supports our manufacturing/production staff. You will be someone whom employees and managers turn to for guidance, connection, and support. From onboarding new hires to celebrating milestones, you will play a key role in shaping the employee experience from day one.
This role is on-site 5 days per week.
Location: You will go between Madison and our Westport location (about 20 minutes away from one another) in this role.
Responsibilities:- Build genuine relationships with employees and leaders that inspire trust, confidence, and respect.
- Assist and support the details of the employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, updating HRIS and employee files, benefits administration, and leaves of absence.
- Coordinate and communicate employee engagement activities—planning and executing celebrations, retirements, and company events with attention to detail, teamwork, and clear communication plans that keep everyone informed and involved.
- Be present and approachable—listening first, then helping employees and managers navigate questions with fairness and clarity.
- Provide HR support to all employees, with a primary focus on our production manufacturing facilities, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to succeed.

- Interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and laws with a balanced mindset—protecting both the employee experience and the business needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely HR records in our systems and handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Partner with leaders to address personnel issues, offering guidance that’s thoughtful, consistent, and solution-oriented.
- Collaborate with recruiting and plant leadership teams to understand production headcount needs.
- Be willing to jump in and support as needed to ensure operations continue running smoothly, including scheduling and conducting interviews, updating ATS, and communicating with candidates and internal teams as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or human resources or related field.
- Five years’ assisting Human Resources teams or working in an environment supporting employees and managers in workplace policies and procedures.
- Superior collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build productive relationships with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Basic knowledge of personnel policies and procedures, employee benefits programs, and related legal compliance areas, including an understanding of labor issues and laws.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and frequent interruptions without losing focus or productivity; ability to meet time sensitive deadlines.
- Creative and innovative; adept at solving problems.
- Committed to customer service possesses a positive and professional attitude.
- Must have a strong attention to detail; strives for quality work and for improvement of procedures and processes.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality, and to work independently under general supervision.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with HRIS software (preferably Workday and/or Paylocity) and applicant tracking software (especially iCIMS).
- Bonus points: Fluent written and oral communication in Spanish and English and experience in a manufacturing environment
