About this Position

The Supervisor manages multiple teams, processes and procedures within Field Compensation. The Supervisor will also work closely with the AVP to ensure procedures are followed as well as ensuring the quality of the processed assignments. Additional tasks include creating and managing work schedules, managing current system processes, coordinating training and offering support to staff.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Job Description:

  • Delegates tasks and monitor workflows to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.  Coordinates tasks with other supervisors to ensure all functions are being processed.
  • Develop a relationship with team members to ensure a cohesive working environment that will inspire the trust and growth of the team.
  • Assist management with the recruiting of quality candidates that will be assets to the department.  Coordinate the training and analyze the progress of all new hires and existing team members.
  • Analyze a sampling of each team members’ production to ensure they are maintaining the quality standards as set by the department.  Works with senior management to ensure procedures are maintained.  Evaluates team members’ performance to identify strengths and needed improvements.
  • Coordinates with the management team in Field Compensation to ensure that the daily reporting/releasing of commissions is completed accurately and timely.

Knowledge skills and Abilities

  • Leadership skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Knowledge of company productions and the Agency systems.
  • Knowledge of Excel, QMF, Outlook;
  • Ability to organize and present facts in a clear concise manner in both speech and correspondence. 
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and communicate professionally with senior and executive management.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines and to work long hours if necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4 - 5 years Prior management or proven ability to lead a team.
  • Background in Math or Accounting
  • Knowledge of Field Compensation preferred.
