Counter Sales/Warehouse Associate bei Style Crest

We are looking for an experienced Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and takes pride in accuracy and teamwork. This role will support both our sales counter and warehouse operations—helping customers with HVAC parts and product inquiries, assisting with shipping and receiving functions, and backing up deliveries as needed.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Greet customers, provide accurate product information, and process orders at the sales counter or over the phone.
• Utilize HVAC parts knowledge to assist customers in identifying appropriate materials, components, and systems for their needs.
• Assist with warehouse shipping and receiving functions, order fulfillment, inventory receipt, handling, and storage.
• Pull and stage customer orders promptly and accurately for pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Verify inbound shipments against receiving lists, enter product receipts into the computer system, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support daily cycle counts, stock replenishment, and maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Operate a company box truck as needed to make local deliveries or vendor pickups; ensure all DOT and company safety standards are followed.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and support sales and warehouse teams with various operational needs.
• Demonstrate a customer-first attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:  

• 1–3 years of experience in HVAC, parts counter, or related distribution environment preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC components, parts, and systems strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; DOT medical card or ability to obtain one preferred.
• Ability to operate a 26-foot box truck safely and professionally for short, local routes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; ability to learn new software quickly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to excellent customer service.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform warehouse tasks safely and efficiently.
• This position works primarily in a warehouse and retail counter environment. Moderate physical activity is required, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
