Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Facilities Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining the building and equipment functionality to include but not limited to audio/visual, pinsetters, arcade games, kitchen and bar equipment, plumbing and electrical, HVAC, landscaping, and more. All while having the highest regard for safety and cleanliness.

  • Prioritize tasks and projects assigned to maximize timeliness of completion and safety.
  • Perform facility related repairs and maintenance including but not limited to bowling, arcade & restaurant equipment.
  • Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to the Facility Manager.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as assigned for the optimal operation of our buildings.
  • Operation of power and manual tools.
  • Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance, and condition of assigned facilities to comply with security, safety, and environmental codes and ordinances.
  • Professionally interact with vendors, guests, and staff members.
  • Assist in inventory ensuring accuracy and making suggestions for improvement.
  • Completes proficiency checks and actively trains new and existing team members.
  • Assist in scheduling and modifying the schedule when call outs occur. Monitor employee time and attendance for accuracy. Prepare daily labor reporting.
  • Follows Company guidelines for managing confidential information, guest satisfaction and supervising team members.
  • Enforces compliance with all local, state, federal regulations, and company policy.
  • Opening & closing duties, including checking all doors and setting the alarm or disengaging the alarm upon entering.
  • Labor supervision such as ensuring breaks are covered, lunches are taken timely, etc.
  • Ensure processes and procedures run smoothly and efficiently for an optimal guest experience.
  • Required to follow all safety procedures and practices and follow PPE protections to ensure personal and guest safety from potential hazards.
  • Required to help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment. Will remove garbage and recycle when needed, will participate in cleaning duties such as sweeping, wiping down equipment and furniture, mopping, replenishing sanitary items and more to include maintaining cleanliness of outdoor property.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO THE JOB:

  • Preferred knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanics and carpentry
  • Intermediate skills in MS office programs
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems
  • Proven ability to work professionally as a team and independently when necessary
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work effectively with people at all staff levels, guests and external agents
  • Ability to problem solve generating positive impacts
  • Awareness and ambassador of safety and cultivating an inclusive team culture

Qualifications


EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of Facilities Supervisory experience; two years’ experience is preferred.
