Reports To: Funding Operations Manager 

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt 

Job Location: Atlanta, GA – Hybrid (3 days in office at our Buckhead Location)  

Hours: 8:00AM- 5:00PM or 8:30AM - 5:30PM 

Summary: 

Responsible for vetting new Closing Agents, verifying wiring instructions for each warehouse funding request, maintaining the WLS database, and reviewing and processing incoming Purchase Requests for warehouse loan fundings. This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and timely execution of funding operations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Vet and approve new Closing/Settlement Agents  
• Verify Closing Protection Letters (CPL) with underwriters 
• Confirm Closing Agent status via Secretary of State 
• Communicate with Closing Agents regarding GBC Funding procedures 
• Maintain and update the Agility database:  
• Ensure E&O insurance and licensing are current 
• Verify wiring instructions for each warehouse funding request 
• Process approval requests from lenders in a timely manner 
• Review and process incoming Purchase Requests for warehouse loan fundings:  
• Complete 30-40 funding reviews per day (volume-dependent) 
• Review requests for additional funds and respond with Fed Reference Number 
• Ensure next-day submissions are completed before end of day 
• Collaborate with lenders to resolve issues related to closing agents or funding requests 

Requirements

• At least 2 years of residential mortgage industry experience.  Warehouse funding experience is a plus.  
• Strong attention to detail especially around verification of documentation.    
• Process-oriented with the ability to handle a high-volume of tasks with accuracy.  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
