This position is for an IT Systems Administrator who supports the mission of “Saving Lives, Instilling Hope and Restoring Relationships” in an integrated team with patients receiving counseling, case management and medically assisted treatment.  The IT Systems Administrator responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Administer and maintain servers, including user and group management, security permissions, Group Policy, print services, event log analysis, and resource monitoring to ensure optimal performance and integration of system components.
• Monitor datacenter health using existing tools, respond to hardware and system issues, and support the build, testing, and maintenance of new server infrastructure as needed.
• Manage internal IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, virtual environments, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, telephony systems, security updates, and all aspects of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/intranet/internet).
• Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory structures, security groups, and organizational units to enhance manageability and security across the enterprise.
• Develop and maintain automated solutions to streamline IT processes, increase efficiency, and reduce operational barriers to company goals.
• Collaborate with vendors and consultants to resolve technical issues, coordinate system upgrades, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in vendor selection and contract management; track IT expenditures, manage software licenses, and process invoices and purchase orders for approval.
• Evaluate existing software and hardware to identify limitations; recommend and implement solutions that align with end-user needs and business objectives.
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to support strategic IT planning and innovation at Spero Health.
• Conduct regular system audits, including verification of backups and integrity of critical data.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support in collaboration with the Help Desk, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Lead or contribute to IT projects and initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
• Availability for after-hours work as required for system maintenance, upgrades, outages, or urgent projects.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives and assume additional responsibilities as the company evolves and new opportunities arise.

Requirements

Education: 

• Associate degree or relevant certifications preferred (i.e., A+, Network+, VMware Professional)

Experience: 

• 2+ years of demonstrated Information Technology related experience
• 1+ years of network administration experience
• 1+ years of virtualization administration experience
