In response to significant Company growth we are excited to expand our Technology team. We seek an experienced IT Engineer/Systems Administrator who will partner with the Function head on Azure cloud infrastructure and advanced systems administration. This role will complement our existing IT support staff and focus on strategic, high-impact initiatives that drive resilience, scalability, and security across the organization.
This position is based in our office, downtown Dallas, TX. Note: we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Lead infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring junior IT staff.
- Collaborate on cloud initiatives and support hybrid infrastructure (Azure preferred).
- Maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Ensure systems are compliant with internal security policies and external standards (e.g., NIST, Soc2, Sox).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in systems administration &/or IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and networking fundamentals.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or Azure Administrator Associate.
- Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Good Knowledge of cloud platforms (particularly Microsoft Azure) and experience with cloud migration or hybrid cloud environments
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, Sox).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Exposure to SIEM tools and basic incident response.
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
